Photograph 1 is without a reflector with the right eye covered up in shadow. Photo 2 shows the result of the reflector held in a position as shown in photograph 3. As the reflector is shifted more towards the front (image 5 ), the darker area of the face further gets filled up more uniformly. It is very important to understand how one has to position the reflector so that you get the best out of it. Sometime you need to bounce back more light and sometimes you feel that there is a need to reduce the fill light.
